SINGLE8 FILM
Single8 film was introduced onto the market in 1965 by Fuji film. For a more complete understanding of the history of the format, follow the links on this page, or use a search engine on the internet.
Single8 has always had an enthusiastic following, similar to users of Super8, it has a similar frame area and boasts image stability that can sometimes plague the odd Super8 cartridge. Between Super8 and Single8 there are a few differences, but by and large both format types capture amazing footage, and in the right hands can enable a keen film maker to create stunning images on film.
